The Brock men's hockey team picked up a point in the OUA standings during a 2-1 overtime loss to the Toronto Varsity Blues at Seymour-Hannah Arena on Saturday.

Toronto scored with less than 30 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime.

Brock outshot Toronto 44-31.

Earning a point in OT extends Brock's point streak to seven games.

The game remained scoreless until Brock forward Jared Marino scored at 6:46 of the third period.

Jeff Corbett registered an assist.

Badgers netminder Logan Thompson made 29 saves in the loss.

For Toronto, Nathan Hudgin netted the game winner in OT, while goalie Alex Bishop made 43 saves.

Up next, the Badgers (15-5-2-2) host Lakehead (10-11-1-1) in back-to-back games on Friday, Jan. 25 (7:15 p.m.) and Saturday, Jan. 26 (2:15 p.m.).
