Jessica Morris scored 15 points and added 14 rebounds as the Brock women's basketball team got by the Lakehead Thunderwolves 68-51 at Bob Davis Gymnasium on Friday.
Melissa Tatti poured in 18 points to lead the offence and registered seven assists and six rebounds.
Brock led 30-29 at halftime.
"Not exactly the way I planned it. We came out a little flat in the first half," said head coach Mike Rao. "We had more energy in the second half. Our defence was a lot tighter and we began to hit some shots. Overall, a good performance by the bench."
Kristin Gallant contributed 16 points including six rebounds.
Brock moved into sole possession of the first place in the OUA Central with a record 5-1.
