Cassidy Maplethorpe scored the game-winning goal and the Brock women's hockey team ended a three-game skid with a 2-1 win over the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks on the road Friday.

Maplethorpe and Hunter Accursi each scored back-to-back goals in the second period after a scoreless first.

Ontario Tech's Jillian Banks scored in the dying minutes of the game to spoil Jensen Murphy's shut out. Murphy finished the match with 26 saves.

Annie Berg, Lauren Diks and Amelia Lackie each recorded an assist. Berg leads the team in scoring with eight points, all assists. Maplethorpe is second with three goals and three helpers.

Up next, the Badgers (3-5) continue their road trip with a visit to play the Queen's Golden Gaels (4-4) on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
