The Brock men's volleyball team snapped a four-game losing skid on Friday.
The Badgers defeated the Waterloo Warriors by a score of 3-1 (25-18, 25-18, 23-25, 25-16) on the road.
"This was a complete team effort tonight," said head coach Matt Ragogna. "Our middles Peter Schnabel and Mark Naqvi were unstoppable and they were able to really set the tone for our whole offensive system. We put together a complete serve/pass efficiently combo, and it showed."
Brock won the first two sets before Waterloo worked their way back to win the third. The Badgers hit for .522 in the fifth frame.
Naqvi scored 10 kills (.571) and threw up six blocks while Schnabel secured nine kills.
Saulius Lianga led the team with 11 kills (.450) and seven digs. Logan House posted 10 kills and five digs.
Marcelo Correa recorded 43 assists and four blocks.
"Now we have to look ahead to a big matchup tomorrow at home versus a top team in our division," added Ragogna.
The Badgers (3-5) hosts the No. 10 Guelph Gryphons (5-1) on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 8 p.m. Tickets are available here.
