The Brock men's hockey team extended their win streak to five games with a 6-3 win over the Waterloo Warriors at Seymour-Hannah Arena in St. Catharines on Thursday.
The Warriors led after a five-goal opening period before the Badgers' Christian Girhiny tied the game up at 14:41 of the second period. Frankie Pucci put Brock in the lead with just two seconds remaining in the period.
"We made a couple of mistakes early, but I thought our guys played better as the game went on," said head coach Marty Williamson.
The Badgers out shot Waterloo 47-26 and the Warriors pulled netminder Julian Sime in favour of Trevor Martin in the final frame where Brock forward Ryan Burton added two goals.
Goaltender Mario Cavaliere made 23 saves in between the pipes.
Just Brack scored a goal and added two assists while Cosimo Fontana added two assists.
Skylar Pacheco registered a goal while Adam Berg, Tyler Rollo and Dexter Weber each racked up an assist.
Up next, the Badgers (6-4) travel to Guelph on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m.
