Box Score The Brock Badgers men's hockey team extended their point streak to 12 games despite a 5-4 overtime loss to the Ryerson Rams at Seymour-Hannah Arena on Friday.
With playoff seeding on the line, Brock trails Ryerson by a point for first place in the OUA West division.
Both teams play the York Lions to conclude the regular season.
The Badgers host the Lions on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 7:15 p.m. while the Rams travel to York on Sunday evening.
Ryerson tied the regular season series with Brock 2-2, however the Badgers have outscored the Rams 16-10 in four meetings this season.
On Friday, the Badgers led 2-1 after the first period on goals by Ayden MacDonald and Skylar Pacheco.
The Rams replied in the second, yet Pacheco found the back of the net in the dying seconds to restore Brock's lead. Ethan Price scored a short-handed goal to open the third, but Marcus Hinds and Patrick Fellows scored less than two minutes apart to send the game into overtime where Rams defenceman Connor Schlichting netted the game winner.
On Saturday, Feb. 9, the Badgers will honour seniors Brody Silk, Brandon O'Quinn, Jeff Corbett, Jake Ringuette, Adam Lloyd and Dallas Rossister prior to puck drop versus the York Lions. Get your tickets here.
