The Brock women's soccer team held off the No. 8 Western Mustangs despite a 1-0 loss in London, Ont on Saturday.
Western outshot Brock 15-4 as Badgers goalkeeper Marilena Spagnolo made 10 saves to keep her squad in the match.
Giulia Geraci scored early in the first for the eventual game-winning goal on a pass from Sabine Gilles-Hardy.
Ivana Kanisek, Samantha Bayer, Melanie Schouten and Felicia Scaringi each registered a shot for the Badgers. Mustangs goalkeeper Megan Girardi earned the shutout with four saves.
Up next, the Badgers (1-2-3) continue their road trip to square off against the Windsor Lancers on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 1 p.m.
