The Brock men's volleyball team kept it close, but couldn't stop the Ryerson Rams during a 3-0 (21-25, 18-25, 18-25) loss at Bob Davis Gymnasium on Jan. 19.
Outside hitter Logan House led the Badgers with 12 kills (.333) and seven digs.
"Unfortunately we did not get the start that we wanted to in the game," said head coach Matt Ragogna. "Ryerson came out and played a tough serving, well blocking, and patient serve receive that we couldn't match point for point."
Dean Globocki and Peter Schnabel each recorded four kills, while Saulius Lianga posted four digs. James Parkinson added five digs.
"We didn't execute our game plan that we wanted and it showed," said Ragogna. "That being said, Logan and Dean attacked efficiently for us and kept us in points and rallies."
Marcelo Correa posted 22 assists.
For the Rams, Xander Ketrzysnki led his team with 13 kills.
The Badgers welcomed the Niagara Penguins sitting volleyball team to the game.
Up next, the Badgers (5-6) host the No. 5 McMaster Marauders on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 4 p.m. Tickets are available here.
