The Brock men's basketball team lost 81-58 to the No. 5 Ottawa Gee-Gees on the road Friday.

The Badgers led 21-17 after the first quarter and outrebounded Ottawa 39-36 overall, however the Gee-Gees scored 20-plus points in each frame the rest of the way.

Brock sits in third place in the OUA Central with 12-9 record.

Daniel Cayer scored 16 points and registered 11 rebounds for a double-double.

Tyler Brown and Daniel Caldwell each registered 14 points. Brown contributed eight boards while Caldwell pulled off three steals.

Up next, the Badgers (12-9) end their regular season with a trip to visit the No. 1 Carleton Ravens (20-1) on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m.
