The No. 7 Brock women's volleyball team secured home-court advantage for the OUA playoffs.
The Badgers (13-3) defeated the Lakehead Thunderwolves 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-20) at CJ Sanders Fieldhouse on Saturday during the first leg of a back-to-back series in Thunder Bay.
Brock has a chance to clinch the OUA West division when Lakehead hosts a rematch on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m.
The victory extends Brock's win streak to five games.
"It was a good team win. Everybody got on the court," said head coach Steve Delaney. "Our middles were insane."
Jaimie Holland recorded a .750 kill percentage, Grace Pyatt also hit .750 and Christina Jovetic hit .425.
"First-year libero Aleiah Torres was fantastic on defence picking up all kinds of balls, so she continues to improve," added Delaney. "Our middles and Aleiah on defence seperated us from them, including our passing."
