ST CATHARINES - Opening their preseason schedule on Friday evening at Bob Davis Gymnasium, the Brock Badgers women's volleyball team made quick work of the visiting McMaster Marauders winning in three straight sets. Set scores for the match were 25-18, 25-21, 25-18.

A good spread of offence for the Badgers, six different players recorded five or more points in the win. Leading the way was a 10.5 performance from Grace Pyatt who tallied seven kills, five block assists, and one service ace. Lauren Ainsworth and Emily Foest also impressed with nine and eight points apiece.

Splitting time in the setter position, the Brock offence was guided by Lauren Teehan and Sara Rohr with the former recording 20 assists and the latter adding 12. Defensively, Aleiah Torres finished with a team-high nine digs, while Teehan added seven.

Brock is right back in action tomorrow afternoon at McMaster. First serve in the preseason match is set for 12 p.m.
