Brock Badgers rally students to fill fan bus for playoffs in Toronto

It's not too late to witness history.
 
Brock University is organizing a fan bus to support the Brock men's hockey team as they battle the Rams in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) semifinals at Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto on Wednesday, March 23 at 6 p.m.
 
"It's exciting for us to have that kind of support at an away arena for such a big game," said captain Jared Marino. "With everything that's gone on the past couple years, having fan support at this time of the year can make a huge difference in a game. We're excited to see everyone show up, and we'll be ready to perform for them."
 
A victory over the Rams means Brock will host the Queen's Cup on Saturday, March 26 at 7:15 p.m. Brock has yet to win an OUA men's hockey championship.
 
The Badgers are rallying students for support on their march to the Queen's Cup by filling a 46-seat fan bus, which departs St. Catharines at 4 p.m.  The pickup location is behind the Walker Sports Complex.
 
Tickets for the fan bus can be purchased on University Tickets.
 
Students must sign a waiver prior to boarding. All spectators must provide: Proof of double vaccination and QR code (full dosage +14 days) and Photo ID and age (driver's license, health card), as well as their Brock ID. 
 
Available to Brock students only.
 
For those looking to stay in St. Catharines, the Brock men's and women's basketball teams are hosting a playoff doubleheader as both teams are playing OUA semifinal games at Bob Davis Gymnasium on Wednesday, March 23.
 
The Brock women's basketball team hosts Western at 6 p.m. while the men's team welcomes McMaster at 8 p.m.
