KINGSTON - The Brock Badgers women's rugby team earned their first win of the 2022 campaign defeating the Waterloo Warriors 31-3 on the road Friday afternoon.

Displaying a consistent offence through the Badgers tallied 12 points in the first half, followed by an additional 19 in the second. Guiding the Badgers offense was Paige DeNeve who tallied seven total points from a try and two successful converts kicked. Olivia Van Wart added another two tries for Brock, while Laura Brown added a single marker to round out scoring for the Badgers.

Next, Brock returns home to welcome the York Lions to Alumni Field on Saturday, Sept. 24. Kick off is scheduled for 1 p.m. with the game also being streamed live on OUA.TV.
