SAULT STE. MARIE – Making the long trek to Sault Ste. Marie, the No. 6 nationally ranked Brock Badgers men's basetball team knocked off the Algoma Thunderbirds by a final score of 92-83 on Friday evening.
Shooting nearly 50 percent on the night, Brock found the majority of their success in the paint and off turnovers, outscoring Algoma 40-28 inside the key, while adding 18 points from takeaways.

Daniel Caldwell was a threat from deep, nailing five three-pointers enroute to a game-high 21 points. The Toronto native added eight rebounds, along with two assists, and three steals to round out his performance.
Tying for the game-high, Brock forward
Jordan Tchuente registered his second consecutive double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds, while adding six assists and a block.
A strong overall performance from the starting five,
Jesse Barnes,
Isaiah Bujdoso, and
Kascius Small-Martin notched 14, 13, and 11 points, respectively.
Algoma was paced by Taleh Wade who finished with a team-high 15 points off the bench.
