The Brock men's hockey team won the second game to split a back-to-back exhibition series with the Ohio University Bobcats of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) at Canada Games Park in Thorold on Saturday, Sept. 16.

Goaltender
Connor Ungar earned the shutout in between the pipes for the Badgers.

Jacob Roach tallied two goals to light the lamp for a second consecutive game and
Cale Sanders fired in a goal and added two assists.

The first period set the tone for the game as Brock's offence came alive. They managed to score five goals in the opening frame.

Ethan Sims struck first for Brock with assists by Sanders and
Riley Gannon.
Olivier Desroches also scored a goal with an assist from
Tyler Burnie.

Ohio faced penalty trouble as multiple players were sent to the box for various infractions, allowing Brock to capitalize on the power play. Roach scored a power-play goal, and Sanders added another to give Brock a commanding 4-0 lead. Roach and
Jonah Boria combined to make it 5-0 before the period ended.

The second period saw
Riley Gannon extend the lead with a power-play goal, making it 6-0 in favor of Brock. Despite several penalties, Ohio couldn't find a way to respond offensively.

In the final period, newcomer
Ryan Stepien added one more goal for Brock on the power play, sealing a 7-0 victory. Ohio continued to struggle with penalties throughout the game, but Brock's goaltender, Ungar, stood tall and silenced the Bobcat attack.
