Johnson-Edwards has clear goals for her first year at Brock. She plans to immerse herself in the university's culture, expanding on-campus programming, especially for incoming students, and increasing the department's reach within Niagara. Her focus is on building partnerships and creating opportunities for students to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

She encourages everyone at Brock to participate in the University's recreational programs and events.

"I would encourage everyone to come out to our amazing programs, events and games," she said. "I look forward to meeting new faces, cheering on new teams and watching our programs continue to make history and the Brock community proud."
