The Brock Badgers men's soccer team earned their first point of the season against the Algoma Thunderbirds.
Both teams were held scoreless at Alumni Field on Sunday, Sept. 15.
Brock carried the momentum in the first half, outshooting Algoma two to one.
The second half saw Brock stick in defensively, as Algoma recorded seven shots in the second half but could not find the opener.
Brock's Taylor Miskolczi made two saves in the draw at home and earned his first clean sheet of the season.
Alp Eren Arikan was Brock's lone yellow card recipient. Luke Harrop and Christopher Olungwe received a yellow card each for Algoma.
The Thunderbirds committed twice the number of fouls, recording 14 to the Badgers' seven.
Next up, Brock Badgers' men's soccer team heads to Guelph to take on the Guelph Gryphons on Sept. 20 at 8:15 p.m. Last season, the Badgers defeated the Gryphons 2-1 at Alumni Field on Sept. 23.
