The Brock Badgers women's basketball team is raising money in support of the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) at its 18th annual Shoot for the Cure game.
On Sunday, Jan. 19, the Badgers will sport pink warmups when they welcome in the Windsor Lancers to Bob Davis Gymnasium for a 6 p.m. tip-off.
Fans can support this great initiative by heading to the Brock Badgers' fundraising page on the Canadian Cancer Society website.
Dedicated to furthering breast cancer research and awareness, Shoot for the Cure has established itself as a cherished tradition within the Canadian university sports community, rallying athletes, coaches and fans toward a shared cause.
The Badgers are proud to join other U SPORTS women's basketball programs to help reach the total campaign fundraising goal of $100,00 through a mix of virtual and in-person events and a national marketing campaign taking place from Jan. 22 to Feb. 2, 2025.
Since its inception in 2007, Shoot for the Cure has raised over $1.97 million, with this year's goal set to push that total to over $2 million.
