After a sensational season, Brooke Rempel has been recognized as one of Canada's best women's rugby players.
Rempel was named a U SPORTS Second Team All-Canadian during the All-Canadian awards ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 30 in Vancouver, host of the 2025 CGIS U SPORTS Women's Rugby Championship presented by The Rec Room Granville.
"Brooke has made a massive impact on the field for every game this season," said head coach Adrian Brown. "She is a key player on offence and defence, and regularly making dominant plays for a full 80 minutes. She is an exceptional athlete that is well deserving of this recognition, and we are all very proud of her achievements."
During the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) regular season, Rempel, a third-year prop, scored nine tries and averaged over five broken tackles and line breaks. While on the defensive side, she delivered five tackles per game.
Her nine tries placed her second in the country among all front-row players.
Recently, the Ariss, Ont., product was named an OUA First Team All-Star, marking the second time in three seasons she has received provincial recognition.
For the third straight year, a Badger has earned U SPORTS All-Canadian honours, continuing the Brock women's rugby program's presence on the national awards stage.
The complete list of 2025 U SPORTS women's rugby award winners and All-Canadians is as follows:
