The Brock women's volleyball team have earned its third consecutive appearance in the U SPORTS Top 10 rankings.

After two three-set sweeps over the Waterloo Warriors this past weekend, the Badgers now sit at No. 7 in the national rankings with a 5-1 record.
The Badgers hosted the Warriors at Bob Davis Gymnasium on Friday, Nov. 7, winning the contest 3-0 (25-8, 25-16, 25-21). Their dominant performance was in large part due to Emily Foest, who scored a match-high 10 points coming from five kills and five service aces. Charlotte Ross added eight points from six kills and two blocks, while Mackenna Knox was the primary setter, contributing 21 assists. Brock won the block battle 7-2, while also tallying more aces 9-6.
On the second night of their doubleheader, the Badgers defeated the Warriors in straight sets 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-22). Leading the way for the Badgers was Emma Baruchelli who scored 10 points off six kills, one service ace and three blocks. Additionally, Alaina Larochelle scored a career-high seven points from five kills, one service ace and one block. The Badgers led for the entirety of the first and third sets and never trailed by more than two in the second. Brock won the close dig battle 26-25.
The Badgers will now hit the road for two matches against the Trent Excalibur in Peterborough, Ont. The first is slated for Friday, Nov. 14 at 6 p.m., with the second scheduled at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15.
