The Brock Badgers men's volleyball team is ready to thrill fans again at Bob Davis Gymnasium.

After narrowly missing the playoffs last season, the team is hungry to return to being one of the top eight teams in the province in 2025-26.

The season begins with a formidable opponent in the Queen's Gaels, the reigning Ontario University Athletics (OUA) gold medallists. The two matchups against last year's U SPORTS fourth-place finishers take place Oct. 24 and 25 at 7:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., respectively.

Fans won't have to wait long to see the Badgers in the regular season as the Western Mustangs come to Bob Davis Gymnasium the following week for 7:30 p.m. contests Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. In the last 10 matchups between the two squads, the Badgers have had the upper hand, winning eight of them.

Last season, the Badgers defeated the perennial powerhouse McMaster Marauders for the first time since Brock revived the program in 2015-16. Their first of two rematches will occur in Hamilton, Ont., Nov. 28 at 7:30 p.m., while the second will go Nov. 29 at 5:30 p.m.

After the holiday break, the Badgers travel to North Bay, Ont., Jan. 9 and 10 for back-to-back matches with the Nipissing Lakers at 7:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., respectively.

A key set of games takes place at 7:30 p.m. on both Feb. 6 and 7 versus the Guelph Gryphons, as the Badgers look to secure victories down the playoff stretch.

The last chance for fans to see the men's volleyball team during the regular season will be on Senior Night Feb. 13 at 7:30 p.m., and Feb. 14 at 3:30 p.m. against the 2024-25 OUA regular-season first-place finishers, the Windsor Lancers.
