Brock women’s volleyball team set to start regular season on road

Anticipation has started to build as the Brock Badgers women's volleyball team prepares to return to the court.

Full Schedule

Last season, the Badgers made their way to the provincial final for the fifth straight time and hosted their fourth consecutive Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Quigley Cup Championship.

The group begins their 2025-26 campaign on the road in Kingston, Ont., facing the Queen's Gaels, who finished first in the regular season standings last year, on Oct. 24 and 25 at 6 p.m. In the last 10 matchups, the Badgers have bested the Gaels seven times.

Fans will get their first look at the Badgers Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 at Bob Davis Gymnasium as the Western Mustangs come to St. Catharines.

A rematch of the 2025 Quigley Cup final between the Badgers and McMaster Marauders is set for Nov. 28 in Hamilton, Ont., at 6 p.m. A second contest follows the next day, with first serve at 4 p.m.

After the holiday break, the Badgers resume their season with road contests Jan. 9 and 10 against the Nipissing Lakers at 6 p.m. and 2 p.m., respectively.

An intriguing matchup for Brock will be two road battles with the Toronto Varsity Blues, who made a surprise playoff run last year by defeating the first-place Queen's Gaels in the OUA quarterfinal round. The first match is Jan. 23 at 5:30 p.m., with the second to follow Jan. 24 at 4 p.m.

The final home contests are Senior Day Feb. 13 at 6 p.m., and Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. versus the visiting Windsor Lancers. During last year's playoff run, the Badgers swept the Lancers 3-0 in the semifinals.
