The Lancers extended the lead late in the second half after scoring from a free-kick in the 84th minute. Brock provided a late push in the match after a Maleah Pinkston run ended in a drawn penalty which allowed Schaffer to step up and convert from the spot in the 90th minute. The Badgers earned more whistles throughout the game, drawing 13 fouls to the Lancers' six, while also winning in the corner kick category by a score of five to three.Â
