The Brock Badgers men's basketball team were unable to win their second consecutive contest.
Second-year guard
Cairo Perry recorded a team-high 10 points and five rebounds in his season debut off the bench, while
Zach Hawley and
Magnus Carlos each added eight points.
The Badgers found themselves in an early hole as the Bold got out to an 12-0 lead to begin the game, leading 20-9 after 10 minutes of play.
Brock continued to battle hard in the second frame, but the visitors extended their lead to 13 at halftime.
Despite Perry's five points in the third quarter and limiting their opponents to just 10 points in the final quarter, Brock was unable to mount a response in the second half.
The Badgers will be back in action on Halloween, as the Toronto Varsity Blues pay a visit to Bob Davis Gymnasium on Saturday, Oct. 31. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. with tickets available for purchase on
