Madison Tuck (Georgetown, Ont.) of the women's volleyball team, Noah Chang (Toronto, Ont.) of the men's swimming team and Tatum O'Connor (Dundas, Ont.) of the women's swimming team have been named Brock University Athletes of the Week for the period ending Sunday, March 15.

Tuck and the Badgers claimed a bronze medal for the first time in program history at the 2026 U SPORTS Championship at the Langley Events Centre in Langley, B.C. over the weekend. The fourth-year outside hitter accumulated 48 points over the three-game span, coming from 37 kills, eight blocks and three service aces. In the quarterfinal win against the Saint Mary's Huskies, Tuck earned 10 points and hit at an efficient .316 per cent in the three-set sweep, helping the Badgers move on to the semifinal round for the first time in program history. The Teacher Education major was then named the Mikasa Team Player of the Game in the second matchup against the Sherbrooke Vert & Or as she earned 17 points from 14 kills and three blocks in the narrow 3-2 defeat. The bronze medal match saw Tuck come up in the clutch with a game-high 21 points from 14 kills, three service aces and four blocks, highlighted by a kill and ace that gave the Badgers a 14-9 lead in the fifth and deciding set.

Competing at the U SPORTS Swimming Championships from Thursday, March 12 to Saturday, March 14 at the Markham Pan Am Centre in Markham, Ont., over the weekend, Chang and the Badgers earned a 16th place overall finish, tying their best placement since 2006. Swimming in his first University national championship, the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) gold medalist placed sixth in the A final of the 50m breaststroke with a time of 27 seconds and 57 milliseconds. His 27.51 preliminary round finish broke the program record (27.58) that he set earlier in the season. The Integrated Engineering major also earned points for Brock with his 1:00.72 race in the B final of the 100m breaststroke event, securing a 15th place finish overall in the event.

O'Connor and the Badgers women's swimming team turned in a 10th-place result, their highest national finish since 2001, at the 2026 U SPORTS Swimming Championships. The third-year swimmer made two A final appearances, finishing fourth in the 100-metre backstroke with a time of 1:00.03. She also placed sixth in the 50m backstroke with a school record time of 27.49, beating her previous time (27.65) that earned her a bronze medal at last year's championships. In the 4x100m freestyle and 4x100m medley relay events, O'Connor and her teammates also broke two Badger records with respective times of 3:46.45 and 4:10.31 en-route to eighth and sixth place finishes.
