Biography
Real Cormier enters his third season with the Badgers. In his first two seasons, he appeared in 10 games posting a 4-5 record with a 3.93 GAA and .895 save percentage (280 career saves). In his rookie season he posted a 4-2 record with a career best 3.21 GAA and .913 SV%. He has recorded a career-high 42 saves twice in his career.
In junior, he played two seasons (2011-13) with the Port Colborne Pirates of the GOJHL. In 66 career regular season games he posted a 36-21-0 record with two shutouts. He had a 3.45 GAA while registering 1859 career saves for an .899 SV%. In the postseason, Cormier went 17-10-2 with a 2.72 GAA. He finished with 890 postseason saves for a .921 SV%.He recorded a career best 58 saves in a victory over the St. Catharines Falcons on Oct. 14, 2012.
