Human Rights & Equity

Black lives matter, and the Brock Sports community is working to make sure this is understood and considered a daily reality for students, staff, faculty and community members. As such, Brock Sports wants to provide you with resources to support and educate you, ensuring we are all doing our part when addressing anti-Black racism, systemic racism, homophobia, transphobia, classism, sexism, ableism, and other forms of oppression, inequality and injustice that impact our community daily.

At Brock Sports we have taken steps to ensure anti-racism is addressed. We must all do what we can to be active agents of change. We are committed to ongoing review, continual student-athlete and coach education and training to maintain a just environment and culture right now, and in the future.

To keep these conversations going, Brock Sports will continue to share and post resources provided by the University, and we have now added a permanent link to our gobadgers.ca website, which will take you directly to the Brock University Human Rights & Equity page.  The HRE website houses a multitude of resources for our BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour) and 2SLGBTQ+ communities and beyond.
