Located on the main level of the Walker Complex, the Ian D. Beddis Gymnasium accommodates multiple recreational activities at one time, hosts intramural sports, exams, and convocation. Across from Ian Beddis Gym are washrooms featuring an accessible door, extra large facilities and handrails.
The gym has hosted the OUA Fencing Championships. Patrons are encouraged to park at University Road West near the Walker Complex or in E lot. The Ian D. Beddis Gymnasium is equipped with drop-down curtains that can divide the gymnasium into four separate areas.
The gym is named after Ian Beddis (BSc' 67; LLD '00), who is an alumnus of Brock University and served on the Board of Trustees from 1973 to 1979.
