Lorraine Leithwood began her dancing career at the young age of three. She has studied in the disciplines of tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop and modern and competed at a national level.
She trained at Joanne Chapman’s School of Dance where she received her Associate Membership of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing for both Stage and Tap. Leithwood also examined in ballet with the Royal Academy of Dance. Alongside her competitive training, Leithwood also majored in dance at Mayfield Secondary School and currently holds a Baccalaureate of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph.
Leithwood has been an award-winning competitive dance teacher for the past 18 years and an Assistant Competitive Director for the past seven. She is looking forward to her new role as coach of the Brock Dance Pak.
