Biography
Dan Tanel enters his fifth season with the Badgers. In his first four seasons, he has recorded nine goals and 44 assists for 53 career points in 108 games. Tanel has had back-to-back 17 point seasons in 2013-14 and 2014-15 leading the Badgers blueline. He registered a career-high three assists against the RMC Paladins on Nov. 15, 2014.
In junior, Tanel played four seasons (2007-11) in the QMJHL with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan. In 220 career QMJHL games, he recorded three goals and 26 assists for 29 career points. His best season was in 2010-11 where he added three goals and eight assists in 65 games.
