2008-09: During his sophomore season Friesen played in 22 of 28regular season games… finished tied for second in teamscoring registering five goals and 10 assists for 15 points…two of his five goals came on the power play… was named aCIS Academic All-Canadian

2007-08: In his freshman season,Friesen appeared in 26 of 28 regular season contests... he led theteam in rookie scoring and was fourth overall in team scoringrecording six goals and 12 assists for 18 points... recorded hisfirst career Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) goal versus theLakehead Thunderwolves (12/1/07).

Junior: From 2003-07 Friesen played inthe Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the Sudbury Wolves and OshawaGenerals... in 194 career OHL games he collected 21 goals and 28assists for 49 points... he also recorded 228 career penaltyminutes.
