2011-12: In his rookie season, Jones appeared in all 28 regular season games… finished the season second in team scoring registering nine goals and 17 assists for 26 points… collected four power play goals and three game winning goals… had six multiple point performances Windsor (Oct. 21 – 1G, 1A), Windsor (Nov. 5 – 1G,1A), UOIT (Nov. 30 – 2A), Guelph ( Jan.14 – 1G,1A), York (Jan. 20 -2A),and Lakehead (Jan.27 – 1G, 1A) 

Jones enters his freshman season with the Badgers... In five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), Jones played for four different teams which included Sault Ste. Marie, Erie, Brampton and Kingston... he accumulated 95 goals and 81 assists for 176 points in 318 career games... in 2009-10 with the Erie Otters, he recorded a career-best 49 points which included 32 goals.
