This is Rich’s 3rd season as an assistant-coach with the Brock Men’s Volleyball Team.
He was the Lakeport High School senior boys’ volleyball coach for 15 years and led the team to an OFSAA AAA Silver Medal. He also coached with the Niagara Fury Volleyball Club and led Fury Teams from U14 up to U18, both boys and girls. His U15 OVA boys’ team won a bronze medal in the Premier Division.
Rich was a member of the Brock University Varsity Men’s basketball team from 1983 to 1987 and the captain from 1985 to 1987, and an OUAA All-Star in the ’86-’87 season.
Rich was also a multi-sport athlete who playedl rugby and threw discus for Brock.
Rich’s son Saulius, is attending the National Volleyball Training Centre in Gatineau, Quebec this year and will be joining Brock in the 2019-2020 season.
