Brock University Athletics

Rick LoStracco joined the Brock women’s basketball team as an assistant coach in 2019.

A native of Welland, LoStracco served for more than 31 years as a police officer with the Metro Toronto Police Force and Halton Regional Police Service.

He attended Eastdale Secondary School before graduating with a Business Admin diploma from Seneca College, where he led the Sting to a provincial Ontario Colleges Athletic Association championship title in 1978 and was named Male Athlete of the Year in the same season.

LoStracco served as an assistant coach with the men’s basketball team at Mohawk College for five years in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

He also played and coached baseball throughout the province for 20 years and was an instructor with the Toronto Blue Jays during their summer camps.
