Biography
2010-11: In her fourth year as a Badger, Woodside appeared in 12 regular season games…Averaged 12.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game…Recorded a season high 21 points on two occasions (Nov 13 vs. Queens & Nov 20 at Ryerson)…Shot 40.2% (53 for 132) from the field…Shot 41.7% (20 for 48) from downtown…Shot 67.6% (23 for 34) from the charity stripe.
2007-08: In her rookie season, Woodside made an immediate impact with the Badgers... she appeared in 34 games averaging 16.0 minutes a game as a starter... on the season she averaged 7.6 points and 3.0 rebounds per game... she was impressive from beyond the arc shooting 34.2% (38-for-111)... was among team leaders in free throw percentage connecting on 35-for-43 (81.4%) from the charity stripe... also recorded 44 assists and 35 steals in her freshman campaign.
High School: Woodside was a four-sport athlete at Halifax Grammar School playing basketball, soccer, golf and track... was named the Metro High School Basketball Rookie of the Year in 2005... was a two-time Metro HS First Team All-Star (2005, 06) and two-time HGS Team MVP (2005, 06)... in 3 seasons, averaged 15.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game... captained her team to nine tournament championships including a provincial title in 2007... was also selected as Tournament MVP three times and Tournament All-Star four times... was named Female Athlete of the Year... was a member of the Canada Summer Games Basketball team in 2005 leading Nova Scotia to a bronze medal... was selected to Canada Basketball’s Center for Performance.
