Brock University Athletics

Vicki Bendus (MSc ‘14) started working as a full-time Lead Sports Performance Coach at Brock University in 2016.

A native of Wasaga Beach, Bendus is currently working on her PhD in Applied Health Sciences at Brock as she researches Physical Performance Factors for On Ice Skating Speed Development.

Bendus also obtained her BSc in Kinesiology from Mercyhurst University where she also played four years of NCAA Division 1 women’s hockey. She was a member of Hockey Canada during their 2012 World Championship gold-medal run.

She has served as the Strength & Conditioning Coach Hockey Canada (U18, Development, & Senior Programs) and the Strength & Conditioning Coach at Wrestling Canada. Bendus (CSCS, USAW,SFMA 1 & 2, FMS 1) is also the Lead Sports Performance Coach at Ridley College.
