Willy Manigat completed his sixth season at the helm of the Brock men’s basketball team.

Manigat led the Badgers to the U SPORTS Final 8 in 2023-24 for the second time in three seasons.

Prior to joining the Brock Badgers, Manigat was the lead assistant for the Carleton Ravens men’s basketball team. During his time on the Carleton staff, Manigat won two national titles (2017, 2019), adding to the three titles he won as a player at Carleton. In addition to his work with the Ravens, Manigat served as associate head coach of Ottawa prep school, Canada Topflight Academy (CTA) for three years where he won back-to-back national championships.
 
Born in Montreal and raised in Ottawa, the former point guard played for the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees for two seasons before transferring to Carleton. After a successful university career, where he finished as an OUA all-star, Manigat spent four years playing professionally in Canada, Germany, Morocco and Croatia. Manigat has also spent time with both the Niagara River Lions and Ottawa Blackjacks in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL).
