Brock University Athletics

Ian Fitzgerald began coaching with the Brock women’s rugby team in 2019.

Previously, Fitzgerald served as an assistant coach at the University of Waterloo for two seasons. He started coaching with the provincial rugby program in 2014 where he is the lead coach of the U18 Women’s Sevens program, which won a national championship in 2018. Fitzgerald is also an assistant coach with the U16 Women’s Fifteens program.

In addition to his roles with the provincial program, Fitzgerald has also spent the past thirteen years coaching rugby at Holy Trinity Catholic High School in Simcoe where he is Department Head of Arts and teaches Visual Arts and Photography.
