Tawil, a second-year Education student, was a vital piece for the Badgers back line in two games versus the Windsor Lancers this past week. Starting at the centre back position, Tawil helped guide the Brock defensive effort against a pressuring Lancers team. Despite two losses, Tawil and the Badgers defense were able to hold Windsor to just one goal in each of the matches, turning aside several dangerous attacking opportunities. The Badgers have conceded just three goals in three games thus far this season showing quick improvement on that end of the pitch from just a year ago.
