Colonna, a fifth-year Kinesiology student, provided the overtime heroics in the Badgers women's hockey season and home opener this past Saturday. Providing leadership from her defensive position, the veteran team captain made an impact at both ends of the ice. Facing off with rival Guelph at Canada Games Park, Colonna scored the game-winning goal three minutes into the extra frame for a 2-1 overtime win to begin the new season.
