Burnie, a third-year Social Sciences student, brought a spark to the Badgers lineup as he made his return following a five-game absence. The 6-4 centre immediately made an impact scoring the Badgers opening goal on the powerplay in a 6-2 rout of the Laurier Golden Hawks at Canada Games Park on Friday night. He then followed that up a goal and an assist in another dominant 5-1 win for Brock over Waterloo on Saturday, scoring on a beautiful breakaway backhand. The three point weekend lifted his season totals to four goals and four assists in just six games played thus far.
