In her first-year with the Badgers, Chloe Zaraska set a program milestone, earning the first women's gold medal in school history with her sensational performance in the women's high jump on Saturday, March 7. The fifth-year Nursing student opted to pass on the 1.52m and 1.57m attempts, before clearing the 1.62m mark on her first try. Electing to pass on the 1.67m height, the Toronto native matched the Manitoba Bisons' Lara Denbow by recording successful jumps at 1.70m and 1.73m, both on their first attempts. These jumps earned Zaraska the first gold medal and second podium finish of her U SPORTS career as she earned a bronze medal in 2024 while as a member of the Guelph Gryphons.
