Roach, a second-year Sport Management student, exploded offensively during the final weekend of the first half of the OUA season. With the Badgers playing in three games over four days, he began his week producing a four-point outing during a 4-2 win over York. Roach notched an assist and netted his first career hat-trick in the home ice victory, including potting the game-winning goal. Next, in an exciting 5-4 overtime win at Guelph on Friday he added two more assists, including a helper on the pivotal third period marker which sent the game into overtime. Roach finished his busy weekend with one more assist in the Badgers dominant 7-3 victory over the Gryphons on Sunday. With 10 points over the last five games, the versatile forward has now propelled himself into the OUA scoring race sitting in a tie for sixth in the province with 18 total points from six goals and 12 assists so far this season.
