Weinert, a second-year Medical Sciences student, delivered another career performance to aid in a come-from-behind victory over the York Lions this past Saturday at Bob Davis Gym. The sophomore sensation tallied a new single game career best 34 points as the Badgers completed a second half comeback in front of the home crowd. Weinert also set a new career-high with five blocks defensively, while adding nine rebounds, one assist, and one steal to round out her Saturday stat line. Earlier in the week, she also notched a team-high 15 points in a loss to McMaster on Wednesday, reaching double-digit points in 12 of 14 games now this season. Weinert is currently tied for fifth in the OUA scoring racing averaging 17.4 points per game, while also ranking fourth in total blocks and fifth in total rebounds.
