Third-year guard Madalyn Weinert was the focal point of the Brock offence that outscored their opponents 161-120 in their two wins on home opening weekend. In the contest on Friday, Nov. 3 against the Toronto Varsity Blues, the Medical Sciences student led all scorers with 29 points and was one rebound shy of a double-double. Weinert followed that performance with 24 points against the York Lions on Saturday, Nov. 4, finishing one rebound shy of a double-double once again. Over the weekend, she also added nine assists, four blocks and two steals on top of her impressive offensive showing.
