At the Bob Vigars Season Opener, Igbinosun captured first place in the 300-metre dash, 200-metre dash and 4x200-metre relay. The Teacher Education major crossed the finish line in the 300m dash in a time of 35 seconds and 54 milliseconds, finishing 41 milliseconds over Ben Lemon, the silver medalist. Igbinosun's time bests his finish of 35.57 from last season at the 2023 Ontario University Athletics Championships. He also placed first in the 200m dash in a time of 22.83, crossing the line 57 milliseconds faster than the second-place finisher. With Ayden Tessier, Tyrell Smikle, Mitch McGarr, Igbinosun placed first in the 4x200m relay in a time of 1:34.35.
