Weinert, a third-year guard, earned a massive milestone over the weekend by scoring her 1000th career Ontario University Athletics (OUA) point against the Lakehead Thunderwolves. On Friday, Jan. 26, the Medical Sciences major shot 13-for-16 from the field for a game-high 32 points while adding seven rebounds, three assists, five steals and three blocks. She followed that up with a season-high 34 points in 40 minutes of action in the Badgers' second straight win over the Thunderwolves on Saturday, Jan. 27. Weinert earned her sixth double-double of the year after grabbing ten rebounds and added two assists, two blocks and two steals to her final stat line. Â
