In the 100kg division, Knox took down all challengers to win his first U SPORTS gold medal on Saturday at the U SPORTS Wrestling Championships. In the pool play matches, Knox went 3-0, winning two by fall and one by technical fall. This set up a gold medal contest with the Canada West champion in the 100kg division Aidan Stevenson from the Alberta Golden Bears. Knox defeated Stevenson by technical fall 14-4 to cap off an undefeated day of competition.
