In her Ontario University Athletics (OUA) debut, Grace Chai made a big splash, finishing on the podium nine times over two meets during the weekend. At the OUA Sprint Invitational against the Guelph Gryphons on Saturday, Oct. 19, Chai placed first in the 100-metre medley relay and second in three events (100-metre individual medley, 50-metre freestyle, 100-metre breaststroke). The first-year Teacher Education major followed that up with two second-place finishes in the 50m freestyle and 200m freestyle relay and three third-place showings in the 50m breaststroke, 100m freestyle and 200m relay at the home Brock Invitational on Sunday, Oct. 20.
