Davanté Hackett, a second-year guard, delivered a sensational performance against the Windsor Lancers on Saturday, Nov. 30 as the Brock men's basketball team scored a season-high 91 points en route to their fourth consecutive victory. The Sport Management major notched a career-high 29 points off a 10-for-16 (62.5%) shooting performance from the field and a 5-for-9 (48.8%) showing from beyond the three-point line. He also was perfect from the charity stripe, going 4-for-4, and he added five rebounds, three steals and one assist in 29 minutes on the floor. Hackett helped the Badgers outscore the Lancers 27-15 in the second quarter as he had 10 points in the frame. Earlier in the week, he scored 11 points and was one rebound shy of a double-double as the Badgers defeated the Western Mustangs 76-75 on a last-second buzzer beater on Wednesday, Nov. 27. Currently, Hackett leads the Badgers with 13.7 points per game and is 26th in the province in that category.
